Job Purpose:

To devise and implement strategy for enhancing solution sales & businesses growth for products related to document management & data archiving including hardware and software. To act as the day to day manager and central point of contact for customers, ensuring the strategy is fully implemented and services well served.

Principal Accountabilities / Key Result Areas:

  • Receives customer requirements, ensures all required information & documents are available.
  • Develops strong bond with customers, to generate demand and in order to enhance revenue. Ensure customer satisfaction in compliance with laid down standard procedures.
  • Gains maximum customers knowledge through engaging in a dialogue, with the customer and builds customer profile. (i.e. Segment, network, type and number of products & services).
  • Have a good knowledge about customers business and activities in order that suitable sale proposal can be made.
  • Frequently visit his customers, explain new services / ideas / packages to them and obtain new orders.
  • Identify potential customer who can contribute maximum in generating business revenue.
  • Reviews the application and customer requirement, ascertains the correctness of the data and compliance with necessary formalities and understands the customer needs.
  • Closely work with the support groups to ensure customer requirement are met in time.
  • Report the progress, status, lead times and customer requirements pertaining to all projects
  • Advising on changes and trends in the marketplace and the activities of competitors.
  • Any other Projects assigned by the Supervisor.              

Job Requirements:

5 years of working experience in sales of business equipment

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to manage customer & staff relationship

  • Knowledge of market trends and customer preferences
  • Report writing & Presentation Skills
  • Technical know-how of business equipment and related software

Education:

Graduate preferably in IT
